Segment 1
In the dream I awake in the early morning apprehensive about an impending Alien visit. My eyes are closed and they feel as if they are glued shut. I only see darkness, and I quickly try to open them then try again, finally getting my eyes to open. The room is very dim. I sit up in bed and look to my left at a window, noticing that the sky is cloudy with a light blue cast[1], then I get up to go to the bathroom.
I walk to the nearby livingroom and open the apartment door which leads into a 2nd floor hallway with a brief landing. I step into the dark hall and enter the dim, moonlit[2] bathroom[3] which is to the right. I enter the bathroom, sit on the toilet, and sing a song[4] about my loving a man, then I think to myself that I should lower my voice because I don't want to awaken the landlord who lives downstairs on the 1st floor[5]. To my right is a window.
Segment 2
I enter the semi-dark bathroom of my current apartment and look to my right at its window. The sky is the same as in the previous room. And as I sit on the toilet and sing of not "giving up the love of my man," (or something similar), I stare out the window and keep thinking of Aliens--whether they will appear--because I want to be prepared. But I'm also afraid, and it is that fear that makes me sing loud, strong, and with great conviction and earnesty. And as I sing, a white floral sheet[6] is slowly lowered as if over the two-story home so that it sweeps down past the window (about a foot or two away from the glass pane), blocking my view of the sky. I know that the sheet is somehow connected with the Aliens. But I don't stop singing.

Reading this today, I'm strongly reminded of the first dream I ever remembered. I was about five years old and would have a current dream of a small flower-print sheet over my head. There were kids playing, I think, and for some reason this simplistic dream had a nightmare quality because movement of the sheet would repeat over and over. To this day, I have an underlying anxiety about endless repetition. This anxiety shows itself in conjunction with my having to wait with not knowing how long a wait will be and in the fear of whether I will be forgotten.
A prime example of this anxiety happened about 10 years ago when I was sitting in the waiting room for four hours without having seen a doctor. The waiting was so unbearable that I gave up and left, feeling quite free and relieved once back outside.
NOTES
[1] The dream view of the sky is identical to that of waking reality.
[2] "Dim, moonlit" added 04-02-2012
[3] Exactly as it looked in reality at that location. My favorite home where I lived briefly with my mother. It was a two story house on a quiet street on the very outskirts of a wealthy neighborhood. I remember very few (if any) of my dreams from this period.
[4] a song I taped in reality [written account didn't mention when song was taped . . . 04-02-2012]
[5] Another reference to a real life set of habits and consideration that were in play when I lived in that house.
[6] with small flowers
INTERPRETATION
Awake in dream --------- Lucidity and/or emphasis on dream message
Fear impending alien visit --------- Fear of coming change/interaction
See darkness until eyes open --------- Lack of clarity/use of third eye
Difficulty opening eyes (x 2) --------- Difficulty in opening third eye (crown chakra)
Cloudy sky same as in reality (x 2) --------- Cloudy/unfocused awareness?
Don't want singing to awaken landlord downstairs (1st flr.) --------- Don't want to alert conscious mind
Fear causes singing to be loud, strong, and sincere --------- Fear forces conscious acknowledgement
Song phrase "Giving up the love..." --------- A sacrifice made?
Sheet in sky linked to Alien visit --------- Unaware of Alien interaction or awarenesss of alien coverup.
AWARENESS OF ALIEN COVERUP
Theory One:
Impending Alien visitation in dream state is hindered by fear which causes the conscious mind to "cover up" the visitation so that remembrance is shrouded.
Theory Two:
Impending Alien visitation in dream state is hindered by fear, awareness of (third eye development) is experiencing difficulties, and fear causes premature awakening of conscious mind--the protector--which results in a metaphorical coverup of alien interaction.
